Perry Farms is situated in the middle of some of the finest duck hunting wetlands in Mississippi. Perry farms private 563 acres is bordered to the North by the Panther Swamp National Wildlife Refuge and to the south and east by the Lake George Wildlife Management Area. In addition, Perry Farms is within 10 to 15 minutes of many of the greentree reservoirs and lakes located in the Delta National Forest.

Perry Farms has eight private duck holes offering outstanding morning and afternoon hunts. Perry Farms was previously the home to the Panther Bluff Duck Club, whose members consistently brought in limits of ducks from both private and public wetlands in the area. Holes are planted with corn and/or milo to provide bountiful food for attracting ducks as they migrate south. Commonly taken species include Mallards, Gadwalls, Wood Ducks, and Wigeon, with an occasional Pintail and Black Duck thrown in. All holes feature sturdy, comfortable blinds or natural woodline cover for hunter concealment, and all are easily accessable from nearby gravel or blacktop roads.

We have recently received many inquiries as to the type of terrain to be hunted, food conditions, weather conditions, water conditions, etc. The following photos should help answer some of these questions. All holes feature either sturdy bench blinds, pit blinds, or abundant woodline cover. All holes are flooded corn and milo fields. Perry farms has the capability to pump water in most fields, so water should not be a problem. As you can see from the pictures, the corn and milo is doing quite well, so food should be abundant. Winter weather in Mississippi can be anywhere from bitterly cold to quite warm, and can change quite suddenly, so call the day before you plan to arrive to get the current weather conditions, but be prepared for inclement weather.
